Quiet Light Galleryby Anna Mudrenko

The little things
tell the story, too.

A mother holding her baby close

A portrait tells us who was there. A detail can remind us what it felt like to be there: small curls at the back of a head, a hand tucked into yours, a toy carried everywhere.

A little closer. A little further away.

I like a story to have room to breathe. A wider scene shows the place. An intimate frame holds a connection. A detail gives you something you might otherwise forget.

Together, those photographs can carry more of this season of life than any single image could.
